Throughout Q3 2021, the top 5 business apps on the Android platform in the Netherlands showcased notable trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Scanner for CoronaCheck witnessed a dynamic quarter in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at approximately 39.8K at the end of June, dipping to around 12.4K by late August, before surging to 40.2K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 56K, experiencing a dip in August, and then climbing to an impressive 89K by the end of Q3.

Microsoft Teams experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at 15.2K in late June, dropping to about 4.6K in early August, and then recovering to 16.8K by the end of September. Active users saw a steady decline from 308K to 170K in early August, but rebounded to 311K by the end of the quarter.

Microsoft Authenticator showed a stable download pattern with a noticeable peak towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads began at 12.4K, dipped to around 5.7K in early August, and then peaked at 13K by the end of September. Active users demonstrated a consistent growth from 335K at the start of the quarter to 419K by the end.

Google Meet (original) showed a steady download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at 3.5K, fluctuated slightly, and ended at approximately 3K. Active users saw a gradual increase from 17.3K in late June to 19.3K by mid-September, before settling at 17.6K at the end of the quarter.
